Video Study #1 - Dark Chocolate

A while back, I had purchased a Dermal Synthetics "Derrick" mask and I had asked to have it done in the "Dark African" skintone. It took a while, but CFX has now come out with a pair of normal human gloves and of course, the match is perfect! I'm wearing my CL Tinters brown contacts for the full effect.

The gloves provide an amazing fit ... I can button a shirt and pick change off of a linoleum floor. As opposed to the SPFX sleeves, these gloves are made of a sturdier grade of silicone and I have no worries about them tearing. My SPFX "Player" pair has torn multiple times - between the fingers and through the thumb.

Best way to wear them is to put a bit of water-soluble lube on your hands and smeared inside the gloves. This provides an excellent adhesion and improves the dexterity as well.

Photo Study #15 - Pitch Blacker

Realflesh Mask's "Rapper" mask was a bit of an intrigue for me. I have two SPFX Players, and while they are a bit big, I am attached to them. The Rapper is the company's version of the Player and it appears to really outdo the Rusty Slusser creation. I have a total of five black guy masks, and I really didn't want another one (the only exception would be if someone came out with a Boris Kudjoe or Van Jones one)

But Realflesh has really stepped up their game and I was impressed with the product. Then Ian Marier (the owner) came out with a version he called the "White Rapper" with a lighter skintone.

Bingo!

I got the mask and it was everything I was expecting and more. The lip cupping and eye fitment was perfect and as I was looking at myself in the mirror, it hit me that this was a perfect Vin Diesel mask. Vin is the quintessential bad boy and the mask definitely had the right vibe for it. I've enjoyed him in the "Fast and Furious" and "Riddick" franchises, as well as his movie "XXX"

So, I decided to do a Vin Diesel/Riddick photoshoot:

Photo Study #14 - Start the World Engine!

I recently saw Man of Steel - and while I did leave a pile of drool watching Henry Cavill as Kal-El, it was Michael Shannon as General Zod that really caught my eye. Particularly the armor.

Let's face it, the villain always makes the movie, and the general did so. In spades. What drew me to him was his amoral morality. I decided to have my Brawler mask haired to look like Zod and with a Caesar cut wig, it's perfect. Once I get my tax refund back, I've already lined up someone to make the armor and undersuit for me. I still have to find someone to do the cape with the right material for it to drape and flow properly.

Of course, without the wig, the Brawler also makes a damned fine GTA character (and/or a very sadistic Top ...)
