In League With (the likes of) Orlando Bloom

I found out that I have something in common with Orlando Bloom - of Legolas and Will Turner fame - FANS.

Believe me, it was quite a surprise to get an IM invite and find out that there is a cadre of Aussie fans of my site (hint, hint, hint - I'd like to see some COMMENTS, please!)

This just tops off a number of good turns in my life this past year -

• a new boyfriend
• a new outlook on life
• slimming down
• muscling up
• new wardrobe
• writing this no-so-soft-porn blog

My self-described fanboy spokesman - David - was extremely impressed by both the storylines and the various pictures of my AE's - particularly my uniformed personae - Shayn, Joshua and now, Danny.

David, reaching his idol and being able to chat with him, craved a boon. And, being the gracious and magnanimous masker that I am - granted it.

 

(Damn ... this almost sounds like some deleted scene from All About Eve - doesn't it??)

So - to continue. The boon. It seems that both David and I are fans of the "The Tudors" - a Showtime historical drama about King Henry VIII. In fact, we are both rather enamored with Henry Cavill - who plays Henry's best friend and confidante Charles Brandon, the Duke of Suffolk.


David had asked if I could do a story about masking as Henry Cavill - which after a short period of reflection - I agreed.

After all - who am I to disappoint my fans?

And ... it's an excellent way to keep those mental and creative muscles limber!
